My Background
Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience as an industrial analytical chemist, having worked in diverse industries including pharmaceuticals, photography, and chemical waste and recovery. In each of these industries, I have honed my skills and knowledge, contributing to various projects and gaining valuable insights along the way.

- BSc (HONS) in natural science with chemistry (via Open University)
- Post Graduate Certificate Education in Secondary Science with full Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) via University East London
Teaching experience
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working as a teacher for several schools, spanning both the state sector and a private school in East London. This diverse range of teaching environments has afforded me the opportunity to engage with students from varied backgrounds and learning styles. Furthermore, this diverse teaching background has not only exposed me to a wide range of student demographics but has also enabled me to adeptly adapt my instructional approaches to cater to the unique needs of each educational setting. As an educator, I firmly believe in the importance of tailoring my teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles, abilities, and interests of my students. This flexibility has proven to be a cornerstone of my success in creating engaging and effective learning experiences for all my pupils.Through these experiences, I have continuously evolved as an educator, refining my teaching techniques and deepening my passion for nurturing young minds.

Moreover, in addition to my teaching roles, my expertise extends to serving as an examiner for one of the examination boards. This invaluable experience has granted me a unique and comprehensive perspective on the assessment and evaluation processes used to gauge students’ academic achievements. As an examiner, I have gained insights into the intricacies of the examination system, allowing me to better prepare my students for their assessments by providing them with essential insights and guidance. I have extensive marking experience as I have worked with a distance learning college.
I have been teaching over 20 years in total and have a huge wealth of experience and knowledge of the education and examination system.
